QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi. New to QTR & B&W(only)printing. Just set up R1800 with 3MK(Eboni), 
and 3PKN+glop for glossy(as suggested by Paul R. & Carl S.).  QTR comes 
with Paul's 3MK profiles already installed...and I downloaded Carl's 
zipped profiles for 3PKN, & un-zipped them in the profiles folder. Was 
that correct ?...they don't appear in the drop-down, as do Paul's.
Also: I don't see any QIDF's in Carl's file....I believe Carl is Mac, 
while Paul & I are PC.  Could that be the problem ??  Any help would be 
appreciated.  Thanks, Pete
