QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi. New to QTR & B&W(only)printing. Just set up R1800 with 3MK(Eboni), 
and 3PKN+glop for glossy(as suggested by Paul R. & Carl S.).  QTR comes 
with Paul's 3MK profiles already installed...and I downloaded Carl's 
zipped profiles for 3PKN, & un-zipped them in the profiles folder. Was 
that correct ?...they don't appear in the drop-down, as do Paul's.
Also: I don't see any QIDF's in Carl's file....I believe Carl is Mac, 
while Paul & I are PC.  Could that be the problem ??  Any help would be 
appreciated.  Thanks, Pete

Pete,

I don't work on a PC, but if your system requires the curve files to  
have the .qidf extension then just change the .txt to .qidf.  Also  
please read the headers in these files and take note of the ink  
channel assignments.  I have been using Eboni in the MK,PK, and Y  
channels and PKN in the C, R, and B channels.
