Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Re: 3-MK and Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk

Joseph,

Paul Roark and I have been working on some profiles for printing to
Ilford Gold Silk and other fiber/RC papers using Eboni, PK, and
Glop. Paul will be posting his workflow notes on his website. The
profiles are still evolving, but if you want to experiment let me
know and I can send you my most recent profile for Ilford Gold Silk.
I'm thinking of setting up a CIS, but not until the inks for this
process have been finalized. Right now I'm just refilling carts and
my setup consists of three Eboni channels, three PK (I've been trying
several PK versions) channels, and two Glop channels. If you just
want to print with just three PK inks and glop I also have a profile
for that. The combined Eboni/PK prints with a glop overlay have very
high dmax (about 3.0) and have a lot of depth.
