Sheila, I am a brand-new member of the list, and thought I would give QTR a try. I have two printers, a 2200 with ImagePrint 6 and an R1800 with various paper profiles for color. I have tried two gloss papers with the 1800. One is the Harman FB, and the other is the Epson Exhibition FB. For those, I used the only QTRprofile I could find, for Ilford F Pearl, and made a Photoshop adjustment curve to compensate for the (calibrated) monitor to print difference. Then, I printed the same print on the 2200 with the IP profiles, and found they matched the QTR prints very well (except for the gloss differential missing on the 2200). Now, it appears I need to investigate what hardware and software is necessary to make proper profiles for QTR! There is no end to this. What paper did you use with your R1800 and do you think it would also work on the R800?
