Thank you very much for your reply.

I know that the glossy ink is not carbon, so in theory will fade sooner.

I was thinking about the research (also independent, if I remember 
correctly) that qualifies Epson's luster paper as archival.

The benefit is obviously higher contrast a blacker blacks.

However, I have just started experimenting with B&W printing and papers, 
so I might as well find something satifactory without the sheen of the 
gloss and glop
