Re: RGB files?

2008-07-06 by tornadokc247

I convert to B&W using Bibble Pro as my primary image editor & RAW
converter. I like its simplicity, cost and B&W film simulation
plugins. I then open the B&W tif in Qimage for final re-sizing before
going to QTR.

Is it advisable to keep the tif as 16-bit from Bibble to Qimage and
have Qimage output the 8-bit file for QTR? Does qimage use the extra
data in the 16-bit file during re-sizing/sharpening?

Thanks,

Mike.
