Hi Roy,

According to Paul, the gray is quite neutral and is also so light that
the tone of the paper generally overrides the ink tone anyway.  So,
in compromising the tone for the smoothness in the gradient, very
little is lost overall. I guess I'll have to see for myself.  And
yes, I'll definitely let you know how it turns out.
