QuadtoneRIP Add contrast???

I am new to QTR and my pictures seem to be flat?  I would add some
contrast in the darkroom but not sure what QTR curve or curves to use
on the computer?? I am using a Mac IMacG5 with an Epson 3800 printer.
Also does anyone out there know of any paper for computer that works
with Marshall Paints for B & W.
