This is a video showing how to install a waste ink tank. I didn't buy mine, I built it out of tubing and a old plastic bottle I had laying around (was nothing but a big vitamin stores bottle) --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "robin.etherton@..." <robin.etherton@...> wrote: > > Its no myth and the Epson help line conveiniently forget to tell you about it. If you are unhappy about dismantling the printer to do this then do what most do and fit a small bottle to the pipes which feed the waste pad . This way you can empty this periodically and not worry about the ink pads anymore. I forget the exact location but there are many "how to do it " diagrams if you Google it. > Robin > > > > ----Original Message---- > > From: MGhelerter@... > > Date: 08/09/2008 2:28 > > To: <QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com> > > Subj: [QuadtoneRIP] R-1800 Red Blinking Lights > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi - The Epson R-1800 paper button and ink button blink red > > alternately.
