QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am new to QT. I am trying it as it is the RIP to use with the new
InkjetMall Epson 2200 K7 inks.
So far I am not happy at all with the output as it states I need to
go to Gamma 2.2
Once I do that the image looks as if it takes on a green cast -
sounds weird I know.
Also there is poor tonal transitions.
So ... do I need to calibrate, add curves, etc....
I am following the directins for choices in the drop down boxes - but
I do not understand 
where I need to choose different profiles. There is only one curve to
choosse frm - K7 2880

I am not sure how to proceed as I follow the directions in the
printout sent with the inkset - 
and quality is very inferior to Imageprint - any help would be
appreicated
