I have been printing with Cone K7 inks for a while now using the Ergosoft Posterprint RIP with good results. I have run into some unwanted issues just the other day that makes me feel like I am lacking enough control of the Nuetral Piezography inkset using Ergosoft's RIP so I decided to try the QTR paired with the Eye1. So I am into the process of setting up a profile and I run into my first issue. I have made it to the point where I have determined where the inks overlap with their densities and I am now getting ready to enter this info into the Curve Creator and I am simply perplexed by what I am being asked. Density and Limit I know to set my default limit at what I used to print the grayscale patterns/stepchart. Although to follow I am asked for the density and limit for each ink. I feel I have the density number from measuring the density of the step-chart for each ink and then finding that density in the next darkest ink but how do I come to the limit for each individual ink? I am completely new to the group and appreciate anyone taking the time to point me in the right direction. Kindest Regards, William Tiemann www.digiditions.com
