I should be a QTR expert and be able to answer this, but I have my own way of making K7 work with QTR and that may not work for regular QTR users. What we do is print out the 26 step test file through a specific K7 curve in QTR for the specific paper, measure this with a spectrophotometer, and take the resultant output text file of Lab values and drop that onto Create ICC. The purpose however, of doing this is to create a SoftProof profile. We never print with the ICCs. Maybe this tidbit helps or further confuses...
