The instrument that I know works really well is the Eye1 but its expensive. I found two people willing to try their Spyders with my remote profiler. So let me see how that works because its less expensive. I will post here in a few days. Of course if you could use ColorMunki - that would be magic because of price... But there is no driver to allow you to make custom targets. A scanner? I am not a big believer in using a scanner in place of a spectro. I don't know if I want to head you down that road. regards, Jon --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "djon43" <djon43@...> wrote: > > Jon, I'm about to go ahead (finally) with CIS/Piezo and my 2200... > > Is there an versatile color+B&W agnostic device that you'd recommend > (to take advantage of your "experiment")? > > Is that old flatbed scanner technique pretty good or is it a halfway > measure (I have an epson 3200)? > > John Kelly > > > --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "Jon Cone" <jon@> wrote: > > > > I just completed a custom profiling experiment for the Piezography K7 > > and K6 inks. >
