Re: Dual PiezoTone K4 system?

2009-01-27 by Jon Cone

If you really want a blend of Neutral and Sepia, you can take the K7
inks and literally blend them in a bottle. 50% of each shade pair.

So 50% shade 2 Neutral and 50% shade 2 Sepia mixed together...
then the same for each other shade...

Is that what you mean?

All K7 inks can be blended that way and use the same curve because the
L value is similar.

THis way you have a seven shaded system to your preference. You just
need to use the refillable carts... and my curves for QTR. OR you
can use StudioPrint to linearize. But I do a smoother job of it than SP.

All this make sense?

PS (305) is my birthplace area code. I'm originally from Florida.
And at 20 degrees below Zero for the last four days, I have no idea
why I have been living in Vermont for the last 21 years... this is
just way too cold for bugs.

systems in my 9600 printers. Â What i really wish you supplied would
be a seven-ink set with the half-sepia/ half neutral tone so i can
print as a seven-ink solution. This color more resembles my
palladium/platinum prints and is not so strongly sepia. Â

bottled inks I'd need to try Studioprint as a 50-50 sepia/neutral
inkset in my 9600.
