David, Roy inquired about my problem, and this was my reply to him: Here is the name of the file I was using when the problem started: QTR_1400_UT14_EDSM_cool_1_BstK50_ovrlp5_RR.txt I believe it is the length of the file name that is important, I don't believe it is compatible with CS3 or perhaps the Mac (ver. 10.4.11) print dialog. I shortened the name too: UT14_EDSM_cool_1_BstK50_ovrlp5_RR.txt and it worked. I didn't change any of the contents in the file, I just simply changed the name of the file. The problem started as soon as I installed the curve with the longer file name; not only did screw up the function of that profile but the whole Ouad1400-UT14 driver. After clicking on the "Print" in the CS3 dialog box with the QTR driver "Quad1400-UT14" selected, when the next "Printer" dialog box came up and you go to the third selection box from the top and try to select "QuadTone RIP", it wasn't there as a choice. To fix the problem I went in and deleted all of the "xxx.quad" files in my "Quad1400-UT14" Profile folder, shortened the name a bit in the folder with the curve txt files and reinstalled using the install command. I am currently using a file name: QTR_1400_UT14_EDSM_cool_1_BoostK50_RR.txt So the critical length is somewhere between the number of characters in the first file name mentioned above and this one. Hope this helps, Randy --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "dharrington213" <pursuinghim@...> wrote: > > Randy, > > Maybe you can help me since you are figuring out some of your own problems.
