This is my first attempt to use QuadTone RIP to calibrate and linearize my Epson 3800 using Ultrachrome K3 inks. I've downloaded and printed lots of manuals and guides that describe the process, but the one that seems to be the most useful and the most up-to-date is the the "QuadToneRIP 2.5 Calibration" 5-page guide on the quadtone.com site. I'm only half-way through the process and calculating the numbers. Next step is linearization, but I haven't figured that part out yet. Am I using the best guide to walk me through this process? Any suggestions? I am using: MacOSX 10.5, Datacolor Spyder Elite and Print, Pshop CS3. My preferred paper stock is Harman Glossy FB Ai. Thanks!
