I have gotten through page 4 of the 5-page "QuadToneRIP 2.5 Calibration" guide. I got the math right, but I had to figure out that to insert the values I had to first duplicate a profile in the Profiles>3800-UC folder and open it in a text editor. Okay--done that. Do I create an .icc file? If so, how? Does it get installed in any special manner? All of this seems to be way different than in the QuadTone RIP guide by Moore. > > Any directions for me? > > Thanks! > You know what would be great is if someone is putting together this beginners guide they could post it in the files section of this group... I don't know if it would be useful but what do people think about the idea of an actual walkthrough of the steps over a skype conference or something ? I'm not qualified to do it myself but it may help some of us if an 'expert' could do this ? maybe a couple of 30 minute sessions over a few weeks or something ? Roy, would you be willing to do this ?
