Re: dpgoldenberg33's Epson 1400/UT-14 quad files. How to make neutral?

John,
I'm very pleased to hear that someone has found these curves useful!
As Tom says, all that you need to do is use QTR to mix the warm and cool curves. That is really the beauty of QTR. Basically, the cool curves use only the cool inks and the warm curves use only the warm inks. There isn't any easy way to get more extreme tones.

To my taste, 75% cool + 25% warm gives "neutral" on matte paper or on Kirkland glossy. The other paper I use is Ilford Gold Fiber Silk, which has a fairly warm tone itself. On this, I use 90% cool, 10% warm as my neutral.

Good luck,
David
