Roy, Many thanks for taking a look. I printed the file you suggested (calibration mode, no color management) on the 7000 and also on a 2200 has the same batch of k7 inks in it. First thing learned: The inks are definitely in the correct slots on the 7000. (b=1, c=2 m=5 lc=3 lm=6 y=4) Second thing: eyballing the two printouts it looks to me like the k5 ink is printing noticeably darker on the 7000 than on the 2200. The inks in both printers are from the same original bottles. Is that strange? Or is it a profile issue? second thing learned: eyeballing the two pri --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Roy Harrington <roy@...> wrote: > > It looks to me like the densities of the inks are wrong -- wrong ink > or wrong slot. > Print out the inkseparation files using calibration mode.
