Addendum in case it matters: I printed the six-ink "inkseparation" file for the 7000, and the seven-ink file for the 2200. So I'm pretty sure i was comparing apples-to-apples in terms of the individual inks. 

However, I was eyeballing it, because i don't have the gear to do actual density checks or whatever it would require.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
