QTR-Quadtone RIP

I have been having trouble printing with quadtone since I have upgraded to version 2.6.2 using Mac Snow Leopard and an Epson 2200. I will tell you what I did and maybe I messed it up. I removed the Quadtone2200 printer using the printers preference panel, also threw out the QTR folder in the Library/printers folder, and threw out the QuadTone folder in Applications (maybe overkill). I then installed QuadTone 2.62, applied the patch and then ran the Epson 2200-UC install script. I then went into Photoshop and prepared the files as I normally do, I was able to select Quad2200 as the printer, applied all the setting and curves then pressed print. I could not get a print output – Quad2200 printer displayed an error stating that Library/Printers/QTR/filters/quatoneprint failed. I tried restarting and doing the whole process over with the same result. I am still able to printer using the Epson driver. I just can't seem to figure it out. Any help you could provide would be appreciated. Thank
