I found that I have always used Standard Preset so that is not the issue. I have now attached the console crash report. I looked at several of the crash reports and other than the time they all have the same data. One other insight may be that I mistakenly did run the unistaller before installing QuadTone 2.6.2 (I had 2.6.1 before) not knowing that the uninstaller was not written for snow leopard. I don't know if that makes a difference. The other thing I have tried through all of this was going back to an older version which was functional. I did this after ininstalling the QuadTone Printer and deleting the QuadTone and QTR folders. What was unusual was that my system still felt there was a more recent version of QuadTone installed making me think that there are some hidden files. It may be one of these hidden files that is corrupted preventing a fresh install. Do you happen to know all the files that are installed so that I can find these manually to get rid of all traces of QuadTone and then start again? That may do the trick since a fresh install on the laptop worked. The laptop also is running Photoshop CS4 and Snow Leopard and also printing to the same printer. The only difference is that the laptop does not have the Epson printer driver installed since I do not usually use it to print to this printer. So the final thought I have is a possibilty of a conflict with the new Epson 2200 driver made for Snow Leopard. Sorry for the lengthy email - just trying to get You all the info. Thanks for all your help. Hopefully I don't have to fully reinstall my entire hard drive.
