Gary, Thank you so much for your suggestions. Your help will get me started in the right direction and hopefully I will be able to accomplish the "look" I am hoping to achieve! Thanks again! This is probably easier if you have a Windows box and access to the Quadtone RIP GUI. If using a Mac, you will need to duplicate an existing profile, open it in a text editor, modify the values to your purposes, and then install it. I began exploring this when I couldn't get the inkseparation.tif file to print properly with SnowLeopard and CS4 (still can't, by the way...but it prints well w/WindowsXP and CS2) To actually print a true red, you will need to use both the magenta and yellow inks together. Hope this helps. > > Gary > > --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "maurerjmj" <maurerjmj@> wrote: > > > > I have an Epson R800 printer. Is it possible to print an image with just the red ink or with red and black ink only of this printer using the QuadtoneRIP? If so, could you recommend the best way to do this? > > Thank you! > > >
