QTR-Quadtone RIP

I just purchased the 3880 and I immediately downloaded the Quadtone RIP for it (I've been using it since my 1270 and yes, I paid!). 

Installation went smoothly but I've only been able to make one print. The first try gave me the above error message. I tried again and got a print but it was printed with Pk instead of Mk. 

I then have tried multiple times and every time I get the message, "Unable to set printer resolution". 

Any thoughts? suggestions? The error log is below.
