Re: [QuadtoneRIP] Printing glossy photos CS5 / OSX 10.6.4 / QTR 2.7.0 / QTR_RGB_Photo_Paper.icc

There is a problem in that CreateICC profiles are not being applied to the image data as it gets to QTR. Seems like a CS5 problem although I haven't tested it in CS5/10.5.8

So far I have had no replies to my own queries on the subject. Further tests by other printers might be in order?

All the best,
Walker

Since upgrading to CS5 my prints on matte paper (with the QTR icc) have seemed to be fine, but I just tried printing on glossy paper using a profile that I built some months ago - it was working fine until either / both of my updates to Photoshop CS5 and OSX 10.6.4.

I have tried assigning the QTR profile, then either saying 'printer controls color' or matching the print profile icc to the embedded icc in the file.
