An important difference between the glossy and matte curves is that the glossy curves don't use the Eboni black in the K cartridge. I would say that maybe something is wrong with that cartridge (not printing, wrong ink), except that you seem to be able to get good results with Paul's curves. Could there be any other curve that is somehow being applied when you print? Sorry that I can't be of more help. David
