Each ink channel is a list of 256 values one for each 8 bit Gray value (0 -255). Each of these values represents the amount of ink that is put down from that channel for a given Gray value. The ink values are 16 bit i.e. the max value is 65536 = 100 on the graph. That's it - really really simple.
