Hi John, I'm not sure if this is of any help, but ... I don't usually print from my laptop (MBP) but I do have QTR installed on it and recently did the 10.6.6 update so I just hooked it up to my 3800 via USB and it seems to work fine. However it just occurred to me to check what version of QTR is on this machine and it is 2.6. I'll try upgrading to 2.7 and report back. ~ Keith
