That is wonderful, Roy. Did you try to control the additional ink channels (orange and green, is it?)?

I was seriously considering buying a 4880 to mothball for a few years. Earlier today, I looked up specs on the new 4900, and it too lists ESC/P2 as the printer controler. So perhaps the near future is not so bleak. The R3000 also looks promising with ESC/P2 control as well.
