Two questions: (1) Can you select/address MK and PK channels independently, like on a 4000? Or do you do this switch at the printer control panel? Either way would be workable. (2) Would it be possible to keep GLOP in the Orange and/or Green channels, and drive GLOP 2nd pass overcoat using Photoshop pure color swatch? I can do this on the K3 printers with GLOP in the Yellow position. This is not the most ideal situation, but at least a fully controllable ink channel is not lost to GLOP. And it may not be possible to dial-in the most ideal ink limit for GLOP overcoat. This is a classic example of inquisitive users making tremendous contributions. Just imagine, are many people out there with 7900/9900 printers AND QTR, yet they never just tried the combination to see what would happen. Motto "never give up."
