Ernst, I presume you are referring to QTR Create ICC? If so, then I use my own targets and just sort input values into descending order. Note it seems to be happy to take RGB (0 - 255 x3) or Grayscale (0-255), or density? (0 -100) values for input and L*ab for output. I think it will take the input values in any order .. though I have not tested this out extensively.
