Thanks for the comment, Tyler. It does sound encouraging. On the sRGB workaround, I recently became aware of an interesting write-up by Mark Dubovoy (http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/solving.shtml) in which he discusses the problem with profiling with Snow Leopard and the Epson 9900 printer (although no mention of QTR use). He suggests that the both the Assign Profile in Photoshop and the Printer Profile should be identical. He used Adobe RGB in his workaround, but believes that it should work equally well if both are set to Pro Photo RGB, and I assume setting both to sRGB would be included as well. This is similar to Roy Harrington's earlier suggestion about using the sRGB workaround, but suggests that other color spaces may work as well. I haven't had a chance to play with that idea yet, but would welcome any comments if you or other member of the newsgroup have experience with this in CS5/Mac OS and the Epson 7900/9900 printers and.
