QTR-Quadtone RIP

In that case its worth finding out what is wrong. If you're using a 
Windows PC, you will need a patch to 2.7 for a problem which does affect 
printing the calibration page. The patch is (or was) at 
http://www.quadtonerip.com/QTR2.7.0patch.zip

I can't remember what the patch requirements are for Mac, but if you say 
what versions of PS and Mac OS you are using somebody can probably 
advise you about problems and workarounds (I don't use a Mac so I'm 
spared the colour management problems recent versions have caused)

I don't know if it'll also fix the 8 ink lines problem - i've only ever 
used QTR with 4 and 8 ink printers.
