I downloaded QTR the other day to see how a profile made for my Epson 3880 using the ABW driver might work (I want to evaluate this before paying for it). I have printed out both a 21 step and 51 step patch set and measured them using Argyll CMS. I have loaded the data into an Excel spreadsheet and it looks quite good with only a minimal deviation from linearity. However, I cannot get any of the three tools in the Eye-One folder to run. I have created both tab and csv txt files and the result is that nothing happens except for a window opening up, saying "Cannot find the C:\Program Files (x86)\QuadToneRIP\Eye-One\ABW_IGFS-out.txt file" I am using the exact same format for the *.txt file that is shown here: http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article_pages/bw_printing/bw_print_colormunki.html It may well be that I am not doing something correctly but I've looked at the files in both Excel and Notepad and they appear OK. There is not much documentation on how to use the tools and X-Rite does not support the target reader software that is mentioned since they have moved on to a more robust profile maker. Any help would be appreciated.
