QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi, Mike.

I'm printing from a Mac running 10.6.8 and printing from Photoshop CS5 12.0.4. Since the Adobe utility for printing targets does not support monochrome files, I'm using that trick of creating a null profile conversion during output to ensure no color transformation is affecting the target.

Those are my settings during printing:

Target
File in Gray gamma 2.2 colorspace
Photoshop manages colors
Printer profile: Gray gamma 2.2
Rendering intent: Relative colorimetric
Black point compensation off


Test print
File in Gray gamma 2.2 colorspace
Photoshop manages colors
Printer profile: My ICC profile generated with QTR
Rendering intent: Perceptual
Black point compensation on
