QTR-Quadtone RIP

Can one print teh 21 random step wedge larger, say 8"X5" rather than 8"X1.5", to make it easier to scan. I get an error message every time I try to scan the small wedge with the Strip Without Gaps Mode, though I can measure each of the steps in Patch mode.
