Hi Allen: I recommend going into the Utility for the printer, and in the StatusMonitor (where you check ink levels), click on the matte black ink and click "Update." Hope that helps, Andrew Andrew Darlow Editor, The Imaging Buffet http://www.imagingbuffet.com Author, 301 Inkjet Tips and Techniques: An Essential Printing Resource for Photographers - http://www.inkjettips.com and Pet Photography 101: Tips for Taking Better Photos of Your Dog or Cat - http://www.PhotoPetTips.com http://facebook.com/andrewdarlow On Nov 20, 2011, at 4:44 PM, allenoaks2@... wrote: > I am trying to print to Epson R2880 Printer with matte black ink installed. The Apple print dialog only lists 4 paper types as choices for high resolution images. Printer requires the use of a matte type paper before allowing printing to continue. I have matte paper installed, but print dialog does not allow me to pick it. Only choices are glossy, semi glossy, photo glossy, and luster. > Printer will not accept any of these choices. > >
