No the profile is not... we stripped it from the release. I was introduced to this paper at a trade show and told that its base and coating were superior to Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, and that it would not yellow, etc... . I should have tested it but I really trusted the supplier from a long term relationship. Instead, I found that the coating yellows quickly under studio light and determined that it is not an archival sheet. I was totally surprised by this. It did turn out to be a bomb (but in another way...) I immediately made an announcement to my customers and I am sorry if I did not make that announcement here. We sold out all the Premiere papers at our cost in early 2010. We have our own paper which we are responsible for. It is a cotton paper base and has an excellent coating for our inks. We have a company in France producing the JonCone Studio Type 2 paper for us. Small batches, consistency, and no surprises. It prints every bit as good as HPR - but without the brighteners put into the sheet. They also make the paper with a baryta coating as our Type 5. The Type 5 is considered to be the best baryta paper by those who use it and have compared it to the big paper companies. It is every inch as good as the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag in terms of dMax, smoothness, look & feel. I look for this paper to be consistent in the ways that HPR has not. Smaller company - attentive. > > > > I have been using it in my own studio, and can vouch for compatibility with my inks. The surface is really beautiful with both Piezography K7 and PiezoTone inks. The dMax is every bit as deep as HPR (when HPR is at its best and not bleeding.) I can't say enough how impressed I am with the Alise: > > > > http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.362672/sc.13/category.34778/it.C/.f > > > > > > regards, > > > > Jon Cone > > > > Piezography > > InkjetMall > > >
