I have been able to reduce the difference by adding just a bit at the bottom (in a landscape oriented photo). It's just weird. I have been trying to work out the margins. I understand how the printable area works. I have just composed a photo on a 4x6 that *can* be centered within the printable area of the paper, respecting the minimal margins (it appears to be 3.76 inches on a 4" high paper), and still it will print one margin smaller than what is said to be the minimum margin at the bottom and the opposite one larger. I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to compensate manually, but it's just a pain to have to spend so much time fixing something that should be done automatically. The smaller than specified margin is always on the bottom of a landscape format photo or to the right of a vertical one.
