Softproofing with QTR's provided curves?

Softproofing with QTR's provided curves?

2012-01-16 by dkosiur

I understand how to create an ICC profile for softproofing when I create a curve for my own printer and paper.

But I was wondering if there was a way to create an ICC profile (for use in softproofing) for the papers that are already provided with the QTR distribution?

Thanks,
Dave

Print a 21-step with the profile and paper, read it with spectro, and drop
the results (text file) into Create ICC-RGB (I use that for even if no
curves). (I think this works.)

I was thinking it would be cool to paste the full Lab L, A and B results of
the pre-linearized 21-step into QTR's Curve Creator "Notes" tab. That
might be a useful way to archive and make all of that info available.
