Hi all, I am using an epson 4800 pro and have just gone through the process of setting up the ink separation after some trial and error - long story.. I have printed the psd file onto the paper I am going to use all Ok and have fairly accurately guessed the ink coverage at 55% I have also carried out the density measurements and have the following LK=45% of K and LLK=27.2% of LK and after the math I have LLK = 12.2% I opened the Purge_K.txt file and changed the values to above settings, saved the file and then hit the install4800command from this folder My question is - Within the Purge-K.txt file (descriptor file) do I set the default_ink_limit to 55% and leave the below Limit_K=100, Boost_K=blank, Limit C,M,Y,LC,LM=0 and Limit _LK and LLK=100 or do I set the default_ink_limit to 100% and adjust the K, LK and LLK values to 55 Once this is done and if correct. When I print anything (including calibration step wedges) do I set printer to Colour matching=QTR and select Purge_K from curve 1? Thanks so much and looking forward to your reply.
