Hi I just got Quad tone Rip, but have not been able to use it. I have a R2880, Photoshop CS6 and I am running Lion Os 10.7.5. the blinking orange paper light comes on as if there's a problem with loading of paper. I'm using Velvet fine art matt paper and load manually from the back. I ran a diagnostic scrip and it tells me that it is unable to send data to printer. After this problem I successfully printed through photoshop. Thanks Jose

Usually the issue is not selecting the right Paper Feed on the Print dialog page. This is different than the way the Epson driver works where its on the Page Setup page. Thanks Roy. I followed the normal print work flow and tried different combinations in the print set up. It seems that the program is not sending data to the printer. I'm thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling the program. --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Roy Harrington wrote:

Is your printer queue stopped or clogged. Go to Print&Fax, double click the printer name. Clear it all out and resume printing. You'll need to give me more details about what you are trying and where the errors show up. To start with 'print via photoshop' I assume means print using The Epson driver, right ? Epson driver and QTR driver are completely separate. Separate queues etc. I assume you are always printing via photoshop. You should start with going to Print&Fax and delete the QuadR2880 driver and Then rerun the installr2880 script. This will start from scratch. Take screen captures and run diagnostic script if you get a print failure. Then I can figures out what the issue is.
