Print quality

I have just made a print (first for a long time) using QTR 2.6 on a 3800 with Gold Fibre Silk, using the Silver Rag curves. When I compare it with a standard greyscale print made in the usual way (Epson driver and ICC profile) I notice much more 'stippling' on the QTR print, very visible in areas of continuous tone. The Epson print is smooth by comparison. Can anyone advise?
Thanks,
Alex

Same here with a 1430, Red River Polar Matte, EB6 inks. and QTR 2.7.1. A bit of a problem too with the "size" of print.

Epson driver OK.
