Hello , Question from a novice. I recently downloaded some curves with .qidf in the file name. Can I use them as is on my Mac with QTR ? Printer is Epson 1400. many thanks

Yes you can. Simply make copies (just to be on the safe side) of all the .qidf curves in a folder (let's say on the desktop )and include the "Install1400-MIS.command in that folder. Just run the script and everything should be installed. Good luck Le 2013-04-24 à 12:53, "jazzfan@..." <jazzfan@...> a écrit : > Hello , > Question from a novice. > I recently downloaded some curves with .qidf in the file name. Can I use them as is on my Mac with QTR ? > > Printer is Epson 1400. > > many thanks > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > Yahoo! I just did this too - the script ran and confirmed that the .qidf curves were installed, but they don't show up in the QTR window when I'm selecting curves - what have I done wrong? --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Jacques Caron <jacques.caron@...> wrote:

Did you restart the computer? Usually, to make the profiles in effect, it's mandatory to shut down the computer and restart. I did that, although I'm not what you could say a power user but it worked for me! Hope this is the answer. I remember that I had to re-install QTR and redo the manipulation.
