Epson R3000, Ultra-Chrome original inks, QTR prints way too dark

I've just tried to setup QTR on my Mac Mini running 10.8.4. Using an Epson R3000. Used to have an Epson 1880 that did QTR 3MK printing beautifully. Set all controls as described in tutorial and image looks great on screen, but prints are very very dark. What am I missing? Screen was calibrated recently and brightness is around 60% so I'm not blowing the image out. Thanks Paul
