QTR-Quadtone RIP

I print on a few materials but may I ask what the end usage is if that is ok? Their are few materials that visually are quite clear but they typically don't print as well as a few others that are not. To be honest I'm a bit confused with the Epson Crystal Clear as that is an adhesive backed film and Pictorio well the two have kind of a different end target.. where do you want to go.?  I  mean screens, displays or digital negs...or?

  Quick question for those of you printing on transparent media. I bought some Pictorico OHP for a project I'm working on. While I understood that the base was not exactly clear I did not realize that the printed area would become quite milky (you can easily see this when look at the non-printing side). I'd describe this media as translucent but certainly not transparent. Does anyone have experience with a material that is truly clear? Perhaps Epson Crystal Clear?

I'll be printing gradients on the transparent media and face-mounting it to acrylic. I want it to look more or less like the old lee filters that were used in front of the lens to create sunset effects.

My Understanding of the Epson Crystal Clear was that it is for printing separation proofs and does not have an adhesive backing. That's why I thought it might work well. But I've never seen the stuff in person, so you may very well be correct about the adhesive.
