Pattern Page & QTR gui Problems

Pattern Page & QTR gui Problems

2013-11-19 by <andy8x10@...>

I've been helping friends print out the ink pattern page through QTRgui. I'm a mac user and have been using QTR for several years to make digital negatives. When we print the pattern page through QTR gui, each bar prints out in magenta, with a bluish background. Essentially, it prints out how the original file appears when you first open it. When I print through PS on mac, it prints out as it should, with all the colours represented. Anybody know what could be going on here? They are set up on a PC, Windows 8, PS6. They have the lastest version of QTR. Thank you.

Have you selected 'calibration mode' from the qtrgui tools->options menu?

There detailed (if somewhat old) instructions for PC users in Tome
Moore's guide at
http://www.quadtonerip.com/User%20Guide.pdf
which I think are still up to date for the calibration process, though
possibly not tested on Windows 8. You shouldn't be using Photoshop at
all for the calibration process.

Hi Mike,

We are not using PS for calibration. Strictly qtrgui. Yes, we are in calibration mode. I'll tell them to try it on their other PC that is running windows 7. Thank you for your help.

Andrew
