There is a new download on the quadtonerip download page:This includes some small patches to run on Mavericks plus an new install scriptthat handles remote printers (network or wireless or shared) and allows using existing drivers for other printers. -- most notably -- 1430 printer using 1400 driver -- andalternate Epson names in various countries.

I still have the problem with full width printing on the 9880, it simply doesn't work (I get thumbnail sized prints instead of intended 108 cm...). Going back to an earlier OSX and using the exact same paper-settings works fine. Does anyone else have this issue?marcOn 2013 Nov12, at 06:36, Roy Harrington <roy@...> wrote:

Hi Marc,I'm betting you have the Preset issue that shows errors on the max paper size.Do you get a Letter size print out? This is when the size that QTR sees is too large. The following describes the issue:What's going on is that the Preset (actually Last Used Settings)
has both QTR settings and Epson settings. The Epson settings come
from some previous
printing that had borderless 13x19 printing. So it sets this
variable to expand the size by
3% (Epson does this to make sure there's no white line on side). So
in the end the
13in wide is multiplied by 1.03 which is too big. Pretty weird and
contrived but that's whats happening.
I tried to find a way to clean up a particular Preset but OSX seems
pretty determined.
The most foolproof is probably to Trash all the preset files and
reboot the computer
and start from scratch. But the less drastic way that I think will work is:
When you are trying to make a Preset, first select Printer, second
select Standard as
the Preset, (or on newer OS's its called Default Settings.
select all the options you want and then in the Preset - Save As a new name.
The main thing here is not to start with an existing Preset which may
have old values in it.
Another thing that I'd recommend is to always use Presets for a
particular printer not
all printers. -- you should see that in the Preset Save window. Be
sure to keep Epson Presets separate from QTR Presets. On Tue, Nov 12, 2013 at 7:01 AM, Marc De Blieck <marc.deblieck@...> wrote:

Hi Roy,Thank you for your insight and the detailed suggestions. I think I've tried it all now, trew away the presets etc, but I'm still unable to print full width. Custom paper size of 90cm wide didn't work neither, which makes me conclude that it is not related to earlier used settings..marcOn 2013 Nov12, at 18:43, Roy Harrington <roy@...> wrote:Hi Marc,I'm betting you have the Preset issue that shows errors on the max paper size.Do you get a Letter size print out? Have you tried the built in sizes or just custom sizes? One other thing is there is a minimum length too. 10 inches or 25.4 cm.
Do you get any error messages?Roy

Roy,built in sizes work fine: A0 not a problem, but there's no built in 44" roll size, is there? I knew about the 25cm limit, so that's not it, tried several margin settings as well. What I haven't tried is making e.g. an A4 sized custom paper size. I'll try that next monday. No, I 've never gotten an error message...marcOn 2013 Nov22, at 20:52, Roy Harrington <roy@...> wrote:Have you tried the built in sizes or just custom sizes?
