Inkseparation8.tiff in Print Tool Maverick

I am trying to help someone print a ink separation file with the Print Tool in Quad Tone Calibration mode. He is working with a Mac and Maverick. When he opens the inkseparation8.tif file with Print Tool it ss for some reason opening with an Embedded File of sRGB, not Untagged. I have never seen this problem with OS 10.6.8 or with 10.8.5. What could cause this? Are there any Preference settings in the Print Tool application that could be causing the problem?

It doesn't matter. Mavericks auto assumes sRGB for untagged files.
I think the latest print-tool fixes this but it really has no effect.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
