Image Scaling On Its Own Accord

Image Scaling On Its Own Accord

2014-02-24 by <jagridsdale@...>

Recently encountered a problem when printing a test strip on A4 size paper (the test strip is 11in x 3in).

When the image is selected and A4 paper chosen the preview image shows correctly in the small preview window, i.e as a strip within an A4 sheet in Landscape orientation. However, when printed the image comes out at full A4 and with only around a third of it printed. The scale box is left unchecked.

I've tested the same through the ABW driver and it prints correctly as a strip.

Can anyone shed any light?

Thanks
Garry

Are you using a .jpg file? If so change to using .tif files.
Some .jpg files are missing some sizing info.

Thank you Roy, that was indeed the problem.

Appreciate the reply.
